The Daily Record previously reported on a firework siege which took place in the housing estate. Shocking footage showed a pyro battle unfold in front of terrified residents on Lochbroom Drive, in the Foxbar area, on Saturday.

Fireworks could be seen blasting the top floor window and a two-storey house, aimed at three people on the street. Police were later called to Maree Road in the housing estate and officers remain stationed at a cordon on the residential street while the investigation continues.

Neighbours and the wider community have been left shocked by the tragedy and images from the scene appeared to show a large blue tent erected over a vehicle on the road.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Paisley. Around 4.15pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025, emergency services were called to the Maree Road and Lochbroom Drive area following a report of a disturbance.
