Fashion fans looking to update their 2025 wardrobe with new season staples need to look no further than Marks and Spencer.

The high street retailer has been impressing us with its latest range of clothing must-haves that includes all seasons jackets to comfy footwear. The latest to gain significant attention is the Jersey Animal Print Midaxi Bodycon Dress.

Costing £35, the bold frock has been earning praise for its “flattering” effect it has on your figure. Despite being a new addition, shoppers have been so enthusiastic about it that it is now the ‘number one bestseller’ in the retailer’s dresses category.

Cut in a regular fit, this midaxi length frock boasts a striking all-over zebra print that makes it a statement piece suitable for day and evening wear. Its bodycon design is said to streamline your figure, with reviews saying that it “skims” over tummies and hips.

The material of the dress boasts extra stretch to ensure that it comfortable to wear all day long. It is finished with long sleeves that are ideal for the colder weather, alongside an easy round neckline.

At the time of writing, the £35 dress is available to buy in sizes ranging from a UK six to 24, but its bestseller status means it will probably be gone soon – so you’ll need to be quick. Pair with boots for a casual daywear outfit, or elevate with some cute heels and a leather jacket when out in the evenings.

Already boasting an impressive 4.5 rating, the Jersey Animal Print Midaxi Bodycon Dress has become a favourite among M&S shoppers who have been praising its design that can be “dressed up or down.”

One glowing review read: “Size 18 and a perfect fit for my 5ft8in body. It’s not a thick jersey but the shape is flattering, as it flares out slightly from the waist line so skim across my tum and bum. Not worn yet but can see myself dressing it up or down. Think it’ll look great in the spring teamed with a shaggy fur black gilet with either chunky boots or ankle boots that I have.”

A second positive review read: “I saw this online and knew my daughter would love it, she is so happy with it and can’t wait for the weather to improve so that she can wear it.” Someone else praised: “Lovely dress you can dress up or down, really comfortable and washed well.”

Another happy customer added: “Stunning dress which is fab during the day with boots but could also be dressed up for a night out. Its cozy and comfy and I would say true to size. I also think its a little more classy than traditional zebra print being beige and black rather than white and black.”

However, the pattern was met with criticism from one shopper who wrote: “The stand out feature of this dress is the central zebra pattern, but despite visiting a large store and ordering five extra dresses on line, I couldn’t find one with a central pattern. I have kept one dress, but the pattern is lopsided and not as illustrated on line.”
