Sander Kartum is traveling to Scotland today to finalise his move to Hearts.

The Jambos have agreed a £320,000 deal with SK Brann for their midfielder and the 29-year-old has now been given permission to open talks with Hearts.

The outline of a deal has been agreed with Kartum and should be completed subject to him passing a medical. It would be the Norwegian’s first visit outside of his homeland, having previous spells with Stjordals-Blink and Kristiansund.

Kartum moved to Brann in 2023. He has been flagged up to Hearts via Jamestown Analytics. Hearts are also expected to confirm the signing of Austrian defender Michael Steinwender from IF Varnamo in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Neil Critchley’s side have already signed Elton Kabangu on loan from Union SG and Jamie McCart from Rotherham United.
