Hibs are eyeing a swoop for OB ace Alasana Manneh.

Easter Road chiefs are closing-in on the Gambian international midfielder. Manneh is out of contract with the Danish Sugerliga outfit in the summer, but Hibs are trying to secure a cash deal before the close of this window. The 26-year-old has been in Odense for two-and-a-half years after signing from Polish outfit Gornik Zabrze. He had been a regular for OB during the campaign – before not featuring in each of the club’s two previous games against Sonderjyske and AGF.

Manneh was a product of the Aspire Academy and joined Barcelona’s youth setup in 2016. The African had loan spells in Spain with Sabadell and Bulgarians Etar before making his move to Poland and onto Denmark. Manneh, who has 12 caps for his country, has a host of top-team experience and Hibs are on the case with boss David Gray hunting provisions in the engine-room after the departures of Jake Doyle-Hayes and Noah Kenneh.
