Maybole Juniors FC have tonight been announced the ‘surprise’ departure of their management team of Graeme Neil and Robert Love.
The West of Scotland First Division outfit, who just five days ago admitted to having a “significantly strained” cash flow, announced the pair’s departure via the club’s social media channel.
In a statement the committee said: “This message is to confirm that the current Management team, Graeme Neil and Robert Love, have resigned from their roles at Maybole Juniors.
“Everyone connected to Maybole would like to express our sincere gratitude to the outgoing Management team for their dedicated service to the club.”
The statement goes on: “Their hard work and commitment have made a significant positive impact on Maybole Juniors, and we are incredibly grateful for their contributions.
“We understand this news may come as a surprise, but we want to assure everyone that the club’s operations will continue without interruption.”
The club, who occupy 13th spot in the First Division, will now look to replace both Neil and Love in the Ladywell dugout.
The statement adds: “We will keep you updated on any further developments regarding management positions. Thanks for your understanding and as always thanks for your continued support.”
