EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed the name of her third child, who she welcomed last week.
Lacey and her husband Matt Kay, who she married in 2017, are already parents to five year old Dusty and Trilby, three, and now have welcomed baby Gipsy Olive.
The actress, who plays Stacey Fowler in the BBC soap, shared an adorable snap of her newborn cuddled up wearing a cosy cardigan with ‘Gipsy’ embroidered on the back. And she captioned the post (heart) Gipsy Olive (heart).
Many of her co-stars and fans flocked to the comments with well-wishes on baby Gipsy.
Jac Jossa penned: “Heaven.”
One fan wrote: “What a beautiful name.”
Another said: “So lovely, what a beautiful name.”
And another commented: “Welcome to the world Gipsy olive.”
Just last week, Lacey, 36, posted a sweet snap of her three children all together to announce Gipsy’s arrival. Her two older children planted kisses on the newborn, captioning it: “Our hearts are full.”
Back in September, Lacey shared a photo of the family clutching a pregnancy scan while standing on a beach at sunset. She captioned the post: “Aren’t we lucky….. @thekayoskids” along with several heart emojis.”
Lacey, famed for her portrayal of EastEnders’ Stacey Slater, first shot to stardom in 2004 with her debut on Albert Square.
Over the past two decades, she has been part of numerous unforgettable storylines, including the renowned Christmas plot involving ‘The Six’, and her character even became a grandmother in 2023 when her daughter Lily gave birth.
Lacey and Matt met at a friend’s house when they were just 15 and have been inseparable since, something she considers herself “really lucky” for.
They exchanged vows in 2017 at an exclusive resort in northern Ibiza, surrounded by many of her EastEnders colleagues, including the late Barbara Windsor, Jake Wood, Laurie Brett, Scott Maslen, Aaron Sidwell, and James Bye.
She was also accompanied by her four bridesmaids – sisters Lily and Daisy, stepsister Mimie and new sister-in-law Amber – and two adorable flower girls. Tragically, she experienced two miscarriages before welcoming her two “miracle” children, daughter Dusty Violet and son Trilby Fox.
She has since spoken about how private healthcare aided her in having her children. “If I’d not gone private I’d probably still have no babies,” she confessed to The Sun newspaper.
