Former Love Island star Paige Turley was hit by illness while enjoying a romantic getaway with her new boyfriend.
The Scots singer, who recently went Instagram official with Kieran Tumilowicz, had been sharing glimpses of their island-hopping adventure around Thailand.
However, their trip took an unexpected turn when Paige fell ill with an unknown bug, causing a disruption to their holiday plans.
Despite the setback, Paige continued to keep her fans updated on her condition on social media.
Taking to her Instagram story she wrote: “Finally over the norovirus/ food poisoning. Can’t quite decide what we caught. Just in time to enjoy the last day of sun.”
Paige shared a series of pictures of the couple’s time away, along with the caption: “Island hopping and a lotta laughs in paradise!!” and fans were quick to express their joy for the singer.
One follower expressed: “The hard launch we’ve been waiting for, happy for you my gal!!” whilst a second wrote: “Happiness beaming through my screen. Buzzing for you.”
As a third penned: “You look so so happy xx”
Paige previously revealed how she met scaffolder Kieran, who is reportedly from her hometown of West Lothian, tellingThe Sun: “We knew of each other already and we’re from the same area so had known of each other for a couple of years.
“But then I was in Ibiza in June with some friends and so was he, and we got together as all our friends knew each other.”
The singer had previously hinted that she had met someone new in September last year when she shared snaps of a mystery man standing beside her as she stunned in a plunging leopard print dress.

Paige previously dated Scot singer Lewis Capaldi before rising to fame on the first winter series of Love Island back in 2020, where she met her ex-boyfriend Finley Tapp and even won the show. After the show ended the pair moved in together, in a three-bed flat in Manchester, before splitting in 2023.
