Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix series, ‘With Love, Meghan’, is reportedly at risk of being cancelled before it even premieres.

The former royal is due to launch her new show in March, but there are already whispers about its potential discontinuation. In the forthcoming project, Meghan plans to mix practical advice with open chats with both old and new friends.

She will also offer personal tips and tricks, promoting fun over flawlessness, and demonstrating how simple it can be to create beauty, even when it’s unexpected. Labelled as “lifestyle programming”, ‘With Love, Meghan’ was initially set to debut on Netflix on January 15.

However, due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, Meghan has decided to postpone the series, which will now premiere on March 4 reports the Mirror.

In a statement given to Tudum, Netflix’s media platform, the Duchess of Sussex expressed: “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

This series marks another collaboration between Meghan and Prince Harry and Netflix, and sees the duchess delving deeper into the lifestyle sector, following her announcement of her own brand, American Riviera Orchard, several months ago.

However, bookmakers are predicting that the series may be cancelled before it even gets off the ground. BetIdeas have given Meghan’s new Netflix documentary a strong chance of being discontinued after its first season.

The series is 1/2 to be axed from the streaming giants after fresh allegations about Meghan’s behaviour towards her staff surfaced recently. The Duchess of Sussex is conversely 6/4 to have the series commissioned for a second season.

Lee Astley, spokesperson for BetIdeas, said: “Meghan Markle appears to be in hot water again following fresh allegations about her treatment of her staff, placing the future of her new Netflix series in doubt. We make it a high chance at 1/2 that With Love, Meghan is axed by Netflix, while the series is 6/4 to be awarded another season.”

Ever since the trailer for the series dropped, it has been viewed millions of times and featured on most major outlets. And now an expert has pointed out the sweet message Meghan sent to her son Archie in the teaser video.

James Harris, Regional Sales Manager at Austen and Blake, noted some of the jewellery pieces on display in Meghan’s video – and highlighted one necklace in particular.

Prince Harry’s wife is seen wearing her Logan Hollowell gold emerald choker, which retails at around £4,000. The 14k solid gold piece features emeralds, Archie’s birthstone for May, and is a favourite of Meghan’s.

Harris shared with GB News: “The necklace is thought to be a tribute to her son Archie, with his birthstone featured. It’s also thought to represent healing and friendship. Meghan’s upcoming show looks as though it’s going to give us an exciting glimpse into her stunning jewellery collection. It seems we’re going to get a peek at everything; from her simple gold double knot earrings to some of her most beloved jewels.”

Additionally, a source revealed to OK! magazine that Meghan aims to establish her identity beyond being “Harry’s wife” through her new series. The insider claimed: “Meghan feels this show will be the perfect revenge for all her doubters and haters. She is so confident it’s going to do well and she will get the accolades she deserves for it, which will finally shut some people up. She can’t wait.”
