Tommy Fury has been flooded with apologetic messages and support from fans after he disclosed his struggles with alcohol, which according to Molly-Mae resulted in their split.
Molly-Mae Hague opened up in her candid documentary on life as a single mum with their two-year-old daughter Bambi. The former Love Island stars shocked everyone when they announced they were parting ways suddenly back in August.
Just a few weeks ago, the ex-Love Island contestant and pro boxer, 25, was embroiled in a series of infidelity rumours following his breakup with businesswoman Molly-Mae Hague.
The couple, who had been together for five years and were engaged, parted ways in August without giving any reasons. However Tommy quickly got the brunt of the blame for the split, as he was accused of being unfaithful.
Tommy, who continued to deny all claims, was even faced by death threats from those who believed Molly-Mae had left him due to fresh cheating claims.
But earlier this month, Tommy opened up about the real reason behind the couple’s split just hours before Molly-Mae’s documentary dropped, where she divulged more details.
He admitted that his battle with alcohol had severely affected their relationship. Speaking to Men’s Health, he confessed: “I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink, and the drink is not a good thing.”
Following his confession and the subsequent release of Molly-Mae: Behind It All on Amazon, which looks into their heartbreaking split, some fans have reflected on jumping the gun with their earlier critiques.

Many have also expressed their desire for him to put his life back in order and ultimately reconcile with Molly-Mae for good. Beneath his most recent Instagram post, numerous followers opened up to Tommy. One said: “I was wrong about you and I apologise Tommy.”
A second shared similar, as they noted: “I really misjudged this whole situation and I’m woman enough to admit I was so wrong in doing that. I hope you can make things work with Molly-Mae and be a happy family again. I really do.”
Another person wrote: “Get ya lady back Tommy, fight for her… Prayers you are through the dark times. Yet another fan commented: “How everyone has changed up after believing all of these rumours and sending death threats to Tommy. I always knew it was a lie. I hope your doing okay Tommy.”
“You two LITERALLY belong together. Everyone’s so invested because you both are so liked together,” someone else expressed. While one more follower remarked: “The switch up in comments is so funny. Now they have told the truth they all soon changed their tunes. Get better soon Tommy and reunite with your beautiful family.”
It comes after Molly-Mae recently dismissed claims that her split from Tommy was a publicity stunt. At the premiere of her documentary Molly-Mae: Behind It All, she shared openly about her relationship with Tommy.
She revealed to Mail Online: “I actually say in the documentary that I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would have been a lot easier… That for me above everything has been the most frustrating part.
“Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a breakup has been incredibly hard. To have those comments and I do see the comments, I see all of them, and people saying ‘this has obviously just been done for the launch of her brand or a publicity stunt’ that is very painful to read because it’s real life.”
