A group wearing balaclavas clashed with cops ahead of Rangers’ fixture with Man United at Old Trafford.
Cops confirmed that they were called to a ‘low level disturbance’ on Great Ancoats Street earlier tonight, Thursday January 24.
A number of police vans blocked off the road as a mob wearing black, with balaclavas covering their faces, threw bottles.
The footage shows the group charging down the street as sirens can be heard and glass shattering.
Police appear to have quickly gotten the situation under control, with the video ending with a huge police presence in the area.

Speaking to MEN, Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to ‘low level disorder’ on Great Ancoats Street earlier tonight.
Numerous police vans and TAU vans have been seen blocking the road with dozens of officers on scene.
GMP said the presence was called to the area to ‘keep the peace’.
The Record reported earlier on a huge crowd of Rangers fans marching through the streets of the city with a police escort.
Footage showed police officers escorting Rangers fans through the streets of the city as they sang and let off pyrotechnics.
Smoke filled the air, as a crowd of ultras dressed in black, led the procession through the streets.
Rangers released a statement earlier this week urging the travelling legions to be on their best behaviour.
