Last night’s episode of The Traitors left our jaws on the floor as Charlotte turned on her fellow Traitor Minah.

Not only did her decision help Minah leave the show, Charlotte then recruited Freddie to join her but kept a secret from him, which will certainly lead him to the firing line.

Charlotte is aware that Leanne has a shield but is using it to her advantage and not letting on to Freddie and encouraging him to murder her so he faces backlash.

According to gambling.com, Leanne is the 1/5 favourite to be chosen for murder – and, of course, survive the hit.

However, viewers are keen to find out the twist in tonight’s show as Claudia announced that one of the contestants will “win an extraordinary power never seen before, and it could turn the entire game on its head” which is expected to be based on the Seer from the game Werewolf.

Alexander (6/4) is the narrow favourite to be given this role, and it would be fitting if in the show’s finale, he was trying to get the other Faithful to believe the truth he has seen, while under heavy suspicion himself.

Alexander (Evens) is also the narrow favourite in the next banishment market, just ahead of Freddie (5/4).

Both contestants have heat on them going into the final roundtable, especially if Leanne is indeed chosen for murder, as they’re only people that aren’t aware of Leanne’s shield.

In that case, Alexander’s history with Leanne, including her theory that it was either him or Minah who’d selected her as the two-faced chess piece, could spell his exit.

Charlotte is the 8/13 odds-on favourite to win the show. With only one roundtable banishment remaining, and Freddie as a potential Traitor sacrifice, it’s hard to look past her. In terms of teams, The Traitors are 4/7 to emerge victorious, while the Faithfuls are 7/4, according to CasinoScout.

CasinoScout spokesman Andy Newton said: “And then there were six.

“With Traitor from the start Minah finally being ‘ratted-out’ it seems Charlotte now has the remaining five players in her web – which is why her chances of winning have shortened up to odds-on (10/11).

“Plus as Wednesday’s show ended, she also seems to be setting up newly-recruited traitor Freddie for a fall – which will further take the heat off her as the show heads into the final few episodes.

“The only unknown is Winkleman announced a new surprise ‘power’ twist that will be revealed over the last two episodes – so it remains to be seen if this will help or hinder Charlotte’s current pole position status to scoop the cash.”
