Good Morning Britain fans were confused by a line-up shake-up on Thursday’s show.

Richard Madeley was on hosting duties for this morning’s show, along with Susanna Reid. However, as Susanna’s regular days are Monday – Wednesday, viewers were left scratching their heads.

One fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to say: “Erm Susanna do you realise its a Thursday right?” One said: “Susanna Reid 4 mornings in a row.” While one said: “WTF! Susanna Reid working FOUR days!?!?! My bacon sandwich has just took off!!”

Susanna kicked off her journalism career as a new producer at BBC Radio Bristol, reports Manchester Evening News.

She then joined BBC News 24 as a reporter before going on to be one of the main presenters on BBC Breakfast, fronting the show with Bill Tunrbull on Mondays – Wednesdays.

Susanna moved over to ITV in 2014 to front new flagship breakfast show GB when it launched in 2014, along with Piers Morgan.

Earlier this week, Susanna gave viewers a glimpse at her home life as she spoke about a UK college’s decision to hire tutors to assist students with making phone calls.

“Everything is online! People tend to email, text or WhatsApp. They don’t speak to each other on the phone,” Susanna said.

Commentator Andrew Pierce agreed: “They don’t speak to each other at all! You hear stories about children in the same household texting each other in the same house! The world has gone mad.”

Susanna then confessed: “I’m afraid I’m guilty of that!” before revealing that she texts her own children from inside her house to announce that dinner is ready.

During Wednesday’s episode of GMB, viewers were met with the tragic news of a 12-year-old boy’s murder.

Charlotte Hawkins was on hand to deliver the latest headlines, announcing that a 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of the crime.

Jonathan Swain, reporting live from Birmingham, provided further details about the incident, stating: “Well, Charlotte, this is awful news, isn’t it? For people to wake up to yet another young life tragically lost because of knife crime.”

One viewer commented: “Heartbreaking,” while another posted: “Heartbreaking, what a scary world we live in. Thoughts with the family.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 6am
