ITV’s Chaser Mark Labbett has been inundated with messages of support from fans after sharing his latest health update.

The beloved quiz master, 59, has earned admiration for his impressive weight loss since being diagnosed with diabetes in 2017.

On Loose Women last year, Mark revealed he was unaware of his condition until a nurse pointed out a lingering cut on his leg. Although he thought nothing was amiss, a subsequent blood test indicated otherwise.

During his November visit to the show, Mark admitted that the only indicator of his diabetes was the wound that wouldn’t heal, Edinburgh Live reports.

Fast forward to this week, and Mark took to Instagram on Tuesday with an encouraging post, revealing that he has “found my balance” thanks to a glucose monitoring device.

He posted: “With DexCom I have found my balance. Staying in control day and night and even diabetics need an occasional sweet :)”.

His update prompted a wave of supportive comments as one fan wrote: “You look so different and have dropped 10 years! “

Another added: “You look fantastic, but no longer beasty.. great work though! “. A third shared their joy: “So glad this is working out for you – superstar!”

Mark, who has lost around 10 stone, has previously stated his goal is to tip the scales at 17 stone.
