A mum has been left “shocked to the core” after a crazed pensioner flashed her on a busy bus.

Sarah-Jane was on the Colchri number 25 service in Glasgow when the horrifying incident unfolded at around 2pm on Monday. The 38-year-old got on near her home on Lyoncross Road in Pollok and went towards the back of the bus, sitting three seats in front of a man, believed to be in his 70s.

She says the OAP was making “very fast” gestures with his hand which prompted her to turn around. As reported by Glasgow Live, that is when she saw the man exposing himself. The driver of the bus is said to have removed the man, who has been described as tall and stocky with grey hair, wearing a white t-shirt and black trousers, before calling the police.

Sarah-Jane said: “He was staring my legs up and down. This man had his full private parts out on show to me, it wasn’t discreet. He was doing it (hand gesture) very fast which made me turn around. I felt scared and nervous, I asked him what the hell he was doing he smiled and said nothing. I’m shocked at the blatant behaviour.

“It was uncomfortable especially when I saw what he was doing, I nearly had an early heart attack. I am shocked to the core. It’s alarming because there’s kids and other pensioners getting on the bus but, thankfully, there were no kids on the bus when it happened. The man was removed from the bus for indecently exposing himself to me, I would like to thank the driver. I want to warn others to be aware of your surroundings.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.20pm on Monday, January 20, 2025, police received a report that a man had been seen carrying out an indecent act on a bus travelling on Linthaugh Road, Glasgow. Enquiries are ongoing to trace the man responsible.”
