The countdown is on for the first Run NL event of the year.
Participants are welcome along to the annual Nite Lite Run Dark event at Drumpellier Country Park in Coatbridge on March 21.
And for the first time in the Nite Lite Run Dark 10k event, organisers “eagerly welcome the next generation of young runners”.
An event spokesperson said: “This is along with the exciting addition of our Youth Series Offer which allows participants aged 11 to 15 the exclusive opportunity to enjoy a new 5k chip-timed route event.
“Those who sign up for the Youth Series will be allowed to take part in the new and exclusive RUN NL package which includes access to Nite Lite Run Dark 5k, the Cumbernauld 5k and Santa Dash 5k.
“And anyone participating in our new and exclusive Adult Series within the 16 years and over category will get access to the Nite Lite Run Dark 10k and Cumbernauld 10k events.
“Within both the Adult and Youth Series packages, each participant will have the opportunity to gain first, second and third place status within the various categories and compete for the best average times across the events, with unique prizes up for grabs for the winners.
