OnlyFans model Mia Dunn has alleged that her celebrity mother is “jealous” of her lucrative career on the adult content platform.
Mia, the 19 year old daughter of Sammy Winward, who portrayed Katie Sugden in Emmerdale, claims her mother made “some pretty mean things” about her decision to sell risqué photos.
Mia asserts she earns £100,000 per month from selling these images. However, it was reported last summer that Sammy and her daughrer are no longer on speaking terms, with Mia attributing their estrangement to a disagreement over her decision to join OnlyFans, reports the Mirror.
She also revealed that the family rift extends to her father, David Dunn, a former professional footballer.
Now, Mia has claimed in an interview with The Sun that her mother is “jealous” of her success on OnlyFans and refuses to reconcile over their disagreement.
She said: “I think she’s got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly.”
She added: ” I think that’s what my parents’ issue is really. They think I’ve done it off their backs, but actually, behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter.”
Mia has opened up about the tension between her aspirations and her family’s concerns, expressing gratitude for their protective instincts but also a desire for them to eventually “move on” and “rebuild” their strained relationship.
She acknowledges that her current work on the site isn’t a long-term career goal, yet it’s providing her with substantial income to venture into the property business.
Reflecting on her choice to join the platform last year, Mia shared: “I feel so empowered on OnlyFans. I am my own boss and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing.”
She also noted that her earnings have increased tenfold for roughly “about three days work”.
