All of Dumfries and Galloway is now covered by a red weather warning as Storm Eowyn continues to batter the region.
The Met Office has extended the warning, which previously covered the west of the area, with gusts of wind of up to 100mph possible in exposed areas.
The warning lasts until 5pm tonight (Friday), with a weather warning lasting until 9pm.
Storm Eowyn has been wrecking havoc across the region since the early hours of Friday morning.
The whole of the A75 across Dumfries and Galloway has been closed as it has been blocked at numerous points by falling trees.
Police Scotland advised: The Met Office red warning has now been extended to the whole of Dumfries and Galloway.
“Conditions are treacherous!
“Many roads are closed across the region. We are currently dealing with a high volume of calls relating to weather.
“We advise: do not travel. Please stay indoors.”
Academy Street and Queensberry Street in Dumfries are closed due to the partial collapse of a building.

NHS Dumfries and Galloway has now cancelled all appointments for the rest of the day, with people asked only to attend in an emergency.
Shops, restaurants and venues across the region are also closed until the evening at the earliest and are urging customers to stay safe.
Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi are among the firms which have closed their stores.
And thousands of homes are without power and are likely to remain so until Saturday.
