Adam Collard has delighted fans by sharing the first photo of his newborn with Laura Woods, along with their chosen name for the little one.

The couple, who have been together since October 2023, announced last year that they were expecting a baby and planning to tie the knot. On Saturday, Love Island‘s Adam and sports presenter Laura revealed the arrival of their baby.

He posted a series of heartwarming photos from the hospital on Instagram. One black and white snap showed Adam holding his baby boy’s hand in the hospital bed, reports the Mirror.

Another captured a glowing Laura cradling their new arrival, while another showed the proud parents carrying their baby home for the first time. The couple also shared the name they’ve chosen for their son: “Leo Ernie Collard, our boy.”

They also posted pictures of Leo’s first meeting with their dog at home. In September, Laura and Adam surprised fans by announcing their engagement, with Laura sharing photos and videos of the moment Adam proposed.

The engagement was announced just two months after the couple shared the exciting news that they were expecting a baby. Laura broke the news on Instagram in July, posting an ultrasound picture of their little one, with her adorable French bulldog looking up at her from below the image, and captioning it simply: “Hey, baby.”

Adam’s relationship with Laura has been a surprise to fans, given his previous attempts to find love on reality TV shows like Love Island and Celebs Go Dating.

However, their romance has blossomed largely out of the public eye. Recently, Adam opened up about his struggles in 2024, sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram where he admitted it had been his “hardest year”.

He wrote: “I’ve seen a lot of amazing 2024 posts over the last few days… but if you’re struggling right now, remember that Instagram is a highlights reel, and if you’re struggling you aren’t alone.”

He went on to reveal that he had faced numerous challenges, including struggling with his mental health, addiction to painkillers and sleeping pills, and being diagnosed with depression. He also shared that he had lost loved ones, drifted apart from friends, and felt lost.
