Katie Price has unveiled the aftermath of her most recent cosmetic surgery, as she was pictured in bed swathed in bandages.

The former glamour model, 46, underwent another facelift at a clinic in Istanbul, less than a year after splashing out £10,000 on the same procedure.

According to reports in the Mirror, Katie has had a staggering 17 breast augmentations and six facelifts, among various other procedures over the years. She informed her followers about her decision to have further surgery as she travelled to Turkey last Friday.

The mum-of-five shared: “From my last surgery, there are just a few little bits that I want tweaking. Well, they need tweaking. So here I am getting ready. That’s the worst bit for me, the needle. The needle’s done so now I can relax.”

Katie captured the harsh reality of her cosmetic journey with a selfie from her bed, showing her cheeks and forehead wrapped in bandages, barely able to open her eyes. Her recovery is set to be supported by her boyfriend JJ Slater, who visited her in the hospital.

While Katie hasn’t disclosed the full details of her ‘tweakments’, reports suggest she sought to correct her ‘pixie ears’. An insider told Closer Magazine: “Katie is heading to Turkey [this month] for her first New Year’s procedure: fixing her pixie ears. She thinks they need correcting after her recent facelift. She’s having her ears removed, then re-stitched in place and pinned back so that they don’t stick out.”

There are growing concerns among friends about Katie’s seemingly relentless pursuit of plastic surgery. A source shared their worries, stating: “Friends think Katie has gone too far. They feel like she’s obsessed and loves the attention – and the money from the pictures – that the surgery brings in.”

Her affinity for cosmetic procedures was a topic Katie herself discussed on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast, saying: “People don’t realise when you have surgery and stuff, you only see before and after, you don’t see in between – when you’ve had it, the pain and the cleaning, the stitches out and the bed rests. So I would love to educate people about it. It’s damaging to your body. I’ve had so many anaesthetics. I know I still choose to do it, but I’m older now.”

She even likened choosing her surgeries to indulging in retail therapy: “like going shopping, for me, which is so bad”. Despite recently unveiling a £10,000 facelift that necessitated a trip to Turkey and subsequent weeks in bandages, Katie appears undeterred by the experience.

Rumours abound that friend Kerry Katona has been a source of inspiration for Katie’s cosmetic ambitions, particularly regarding a potential nose job, reminiscent of the Atomic Kitten star’s own enhancements.

Katie, however, has expressed past fears related to her surgical adventures. In 2021, she opened up about fearing for her life during one particularly precarious procedure: “I just thought, ‘This is it, I’m going to die. I was terrified of looking like a freak, like that Bride of Wildenstein or a fake doll.”
