Viewers of The Masked Singer UK are convinced they’ve cracked the case of Wolf’s true identity, believing it to be a well-known face. The mystery celebrity took to the stage again on Saturday night, delivering a performance of The Candy Man.
Wolf also dropped some significant new hints about their real identity, leading fans to believe they’d finally solved the puzzle. These clues included preconceptions about him, wool, not living a fairytale and having done it all.
As the singing began, viewers were certain they recognised the voice beneath the Wolf mask. Previous clues such as “three little pigs” not heeding his advice, being “more soap opera than fairytale”, and “I traded expectations others might have had, and set off down my own road.”
Despite the puzzling clues, the vocals alone had many fans convinced they knew who it was. After the performance, viewers took to social media to share their theories that Wolf was none other than former Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow, reports the Mirror.
Fans voiced their thoughts on social media, asserting that Wolf must be the star, who recently appeared on Michael McinTyre’s Big Show. One viewer posted: “I think wolf is Marti Pellow.”

This departure makes Carol Decker the fourth celebrity to leave the show this series, following reveals of Kate Garraway as Spag Bol, Prue Leith as Pegasus, and Macy Gray as Toad in the Hole.
Macy Gray previously made headlines with her abrupt exit before her unmasking, which left the judging panel puzzled; producers earnestly worked for almost an hour to persuade Gray to return onstage.
A source divulged to The Sun that Macy Gray felt completely taken aback by the elimination as disclosed by host Joel Dommett, leading to her unexpected walk-off. “When Macy stormed off stage everyone was frozen in shock but as soon as she reached backstage, crew removed her mask so they could talk her down,” said the insider.
They added, “Macy was almost shell shocked to start with and was basically gutted to be out so early because she really enjoyed being on the American version – when obviously she did brilliantly – so was totally blindsided. It was the shock of it for her as well as the upset and in that moment she had a very raw, human reaction and wanted out.”
