Loose Women star Kaye Adams has marked her daughter’s 18th birthday with a snapshot of Bonnie, who is the spitting image of her mum in new photos.

The 62-year-old ITV panellist jokingly claimed it’s a parent’s right to embarrass their child, as she shared an affectionate tribute on her milestone birthday as reported by the Mirror.

Alongside the photo, which shows Bonnie is the spitting image of her famous mum, Kaye listed all the reasons why she shouldn’t post about her daughter, before penning a heartfelt note to Bonnie.

Kaye wrote: “You might think it would be a relatively easy thing to put up a happy 18th birthday post to your darling daughter, Bonnie. It is not.” She then detailed the “rules” on posts about her daughter.

She continued: “There are strict rules governing such things, apparently. No photos should be posted without prior approval.. No baby pictures, no ‘funny’ pictures , no photomontages. Failure to comply will result in a severe reprimand.

“The wording of the post is also strictly regulated. No gushiness, no embarrassing anecdotes- keep it brief. Again, there will be penalties for noncompliance.”

The television presenter ramped up the embarrassment factor for her daughter, by rounding off her post: “In the light of these restrictions, I will conclude this post by saying :- happy birthday pumpkin pie/lemon puff/apple strudel. Thank God, you are legal at last. Lots of love, mumsywumsy and dadsywadsy xxx ps we couldn’t have chosen a better name for you x”.

Elsewhere, Kaye recently opened up to her Loose Women co-stars about having to “reinvent” Christmas after enduring some heartbreaking losses.

Candidly talking of the passing of both her parents, Kaye disclosed how her first festive season without her dad felt like she was “sleep walking”.

She shared with her fellow panel members: “I think you kind of have to reinvent it. Like similar to you, I’ve lost both my mum and my dad, and Christmas was always, always at their house. The first one after my dad died, we just kind of slept walked through it.”

“We went through the motions. We were kind of anaesthetised to the whole thing. You did it, because it felt like a big thing to ignore it, but like I say, we were sleep walking. But in the years since, you’ve just got to reinvent it. Because it was so much associated with them. For us, we just had to have a different thing,” she emotionally added.
