A pensioner has been injured after a dog attack in Dundee.
A 73-year-old woman, and 72-year-old man were reportedly attacked by a “bull-type” breed of dog while walking along Greendykes Road, in the east of the city, at around 2.10pm.
Police were called to the scene after receiving a report of the incident.
The dog was described as being medium-sized and tan in colour.
The man sustained injuries to his arm and face, and was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment. The woman did not require any treatment.

Following the incident, officers are appealing for information from the public to identify the owner of the animal.
Sergeant Chris Hutchinson said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, or anyone who may have private CCTV or dashcam footage, as we try to identify the owner of the dog responsible.”
