A man accused of murdering his 45-year-old mother inside her Brooklyn apartment building stabbed her more than a dozen times — only dropping the knife after police tased him, prosecutors.

Weverton Lino, 29, was ordered held without bail after he was arraigned on murder and weapons charges in Brooklyn Criminal Court Sunday, with his lawyer, Wayne Bodden, saying he plans to request his client undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Police had twice before filed domestic incident reports after responding to arguments between Lino and his mother Roselene Oliveira, the prosecutor said.

This time the confrontation ended in murder.

Lino, who lives in the Bronx according to cops, got into a loud argument with his mother Friday night inside her building on E. 92nd St. near Lenor Road in East Flatbush, police said.

He stabbed her 13 times with a large kitchen knife in the public hallway, prosecutors say.

“I saw the holes,” one neighbor said on Saturday of the victim’s gruesome wounds. “They went right through. There was a lot of blood.”

The neighbor was at home watching television when he “heard a woman screaming for help,” he told The News.

“After I heard screaming I stood next to the door,” the neighbor recalled. “I usually hesitate to come out. But after that I heard people fighting in the hallway.”

He opened the door to find the stabber shouting incoherently and struggling with another neighbor, who had the stabber pinned to the ground.

“They were fighting over the knife,” the witness said. “I gotta give credit to the [neighbor]. I don’t know when he got there. He fought the guy, he held the guy down. [The stabber] had his arm stretched out with the kitchen knife. It was like a steak knife.”

The witness jumped in to assist and grab the knife, cutting himself in the process.

Lino was arrested after police showed up and tased him.

The prosecutor said NYPD body-worn camera footage shows the neighbors pointing to Lino, who was “still gripping a knife.”

Medics rushed his mother to Brookdale University Hospital but she could not be saved.
