A vehicle plowed into a crowd in downtown Philadelphia on Sunday night during a massive gathering to celebrate the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory and trip to the Super Bowl.

At least three people were seriously injured in the wreck, though many more were struck by the car, according to video obtained by local NBC affiliate WCAU.

The driver of the vehicle was detained almost immediately, Philadelphia police said in a social media post. Cops said the crash “does not appear intentional at this time.”

“Everybody dancing, getting along,” one witness told WCAU. “Next thing you know a car coming down and it’s speeding and it hit 10 people.”

The video shows a massive crowd at the intersection of N. Broad St. and Spring Garden St. in downtown Philadelphia, hours after the Eagles’ 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game.

Then, a stopped car suddenly shoots forward and mows several people down. Nearly a dozen people are seen on the ground, and then the driver turns around and appears to try to leave the scene.

Neither the driver nor the victims have been publicly identified by authorities. The Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9. It will be a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.
