Police are appealing for information after a two-car crash in Kilbirnie on Saturday, January 25.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A760 at around 4pm following the incident which involved a Kia Sportage and a BMW X3.
A number of people were injured in the crash and the occupants of both vehicles were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police Scotland have not confirmed the number of people injured or the extent of the injuries.
The A760 was closed for around seven and a half hours as investigations were carried out before it reopened at 11.30pm.
Road Policing Sergeant Ross Allison said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who was on the A760 at the time and saw what happened or has any information which may assist with our investigations.
“I’d also ask drivers with dashcams to please review your footage and bring anything you think may be of importance to our attention.”
