There are so many mobile phones on the market that it can be hard to keep up with the best deals, as well as what works best for you.

Tech nerds may be following the latest drops and releases across all brands daily, while the more moderate consumer may just be checking in and out to see what might fit the bill for their next upgrade.

Either way, Samsung has finally unveiled its latest smartphone range, the Galaxy S25 – and have offered some great bargains to go along with it.

The tech giant showcased the new S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra at its Galaxy Unpacked event in California, with all models now available for pre-order ahead of their February 7 release, reports the Mirror.

Sky Mobile is offering each model for pre-order, with prices kicking off at £30 per month for the standard S25, £38 for the S25+ and £48 for the S25 Ultra – which carries a £12 upfront cost for the 1TB model. Sky’s 36-month contracts include unlimited calls and texts, along with competitive data plans such as 25GB data for £10 or 50GB for £12.

Sky is also throwing in free Galaxy Buds3 Pro worth £219 with every pre-order purchase, plus double the phone storage at no extra charge.

For instance, customers ordering the S25 256GB (usually £32 per month) will instead pay the price of the 128GB mode (£30 per month) bagging double the storage for free.

Each model in the Galaxy S25 series features an ‘ultra-fast’ processor, a bright, crisp display and ‘super-smart’ AI software. The S25 range is powered by intuitive Galaxy AI, designed to help your life run smoothly by taking care of day-to-day tasks.

Thinking about the best shade match for you? The S25 and S25+ are available in Blue, Navy, Mint and Silver Shadow, while the S25 Ultra comes in Titanium Blue, Titanium Grey, Titanium Silver and Titanium Black.

“Get ready for AI that is more natural and intuitive,” a Samsung spokesperson teased. “The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming, and it’s going to change the way you interact with the world every day.

“The new Galaxy S series is about to set the bar once again for mobile AI experiences now and into the future.”

Pre-orders are available until 11.59pm on February 6. And the company has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 range will be purchasable directly from Samsung, with deals anticipated from major retailers such as Currys and Very.

With the introduction of the new line-up, prices for the preceding Galaxy S24 models are seeing notable reductions across various outlets. Samsung has currently dropped the price of the standard S24 to £724, with trade-in discounts reaching up to £407 for select handsets from Samsung, Apple, and other manufacturers.

Mobiles.co.uk is offering enticing contracts, like the S24 Ultra on iD Mobile’s 100GB plan for just £39.99 a month with a mere £9 upfront cost, in addition to a 500GB option at the same monthly cost but with a £29 upfront fee.

And finally, Sky Mobile has slashed its Galaxy S24 prices, dropping from £28 a month to £25, equating to savings of £108 over a three-year contract.

Reviews are already coming in thick and fast. The Independent praised the “cutting-edge” three main rear cameras which mean “you can hold the lens… an inch from your subject and still get outstanding details in sharp focus.”

Software changes include virtual aperture which the outlet dubbed “very impressive,” while “similarly impressive” is the “audio eraser” which lets you deduct specific types of sound from the soundtrack of a video.

The phone also performed “at speed, with no lags or slowdown”.

On the other hand, TechRadar listed the phone’s cons as “no major camera updates, no major design changes, and no major anything, really,” adding: “The Galaxy S25 looks a lot like last year’s Galaxy S24, and the Galaxy S23 from the year before that. It’s a bit thinner and a tad lighter, but not much else has changed.”
