DALLAS — A Dallas police officer was arrested Saturday morning, and a department call analyst was arrested Sunday, authorities said.
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said in a release that Dallas police officer Issac Burton was arrested on Jan. 25 for public intoxication, a class-C misdemeanor.
DPD did not say when or where the incident happened but noted that officer Burton was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an Internal Affairs investigation.
Officer Burton has been with DPD since July 2019, the department said, and is assigned to the Community Operations Division.
On Sunday, DPD said that call analyst Evelyn Keith was arrested by the Mesquite Police Department for driving while intoxicated, a class-B misdemeanor.
The department said in a press release that Keith has been with them since November 2023 and is assigned to the Communications Division.
