Meghan Markle is said to be struggling with “deep struggles” in an effort to rehabilitate her public persona following bombshell allegations from former aides.
The Duchess of Sussex, who ran her Spotify podcast ‘Archetypes’ saw the show come to an abrupt end after just 12 episodes following the streaming giant’s decision to axe Harry and Meghan’s contract.
An insider came forth claiming that Meghan was “really, really, really awful” as a boss, dubbing the working atmosphere “painful”. Some ex-employees apparently require “long-term therapy” post-departure.

Commenting on the difficulties Meghan is facing, media expert Michael Levine told The Mirror US: “Meghan Markle’s deep struggle following the Vanity Fair exposé highlights the immense pressure of life in the public eye.”
Levine elaborated to The Mirror US that: “Navigating fame requires skill and resilience, and the Sussexes’ shift from Royal duties to private business ventures has been riddled with obstacles.
“The article signifies how crucial narrative control is for maintaining a favourable public image. Despite the fairness of such exposure, it can leave an indelible mark on one’s personal and career endeavours.”
He even suggested that this level of scrutiny could be critical, a potential “make or break” point for Meghan’s future in the industry. As these issues come to light, a source also disclosed that Meghan’s unpredictability might create major consequences for those working under her.
An unnamed source divulged to Vanity Fair, suggesting that Meghan’s approach was calculated: “She’s constantly playing checkers – I’m not even going to say chess – but she’s just very aware of where everybody is on her board. And when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment.”
Meghan, on the other hand, has always categorically denied claims that she ‘bullied’ members of her staff, dismissing these as part of a “calculated smear campaign” aimed at her. Several loyal ex-employees have stepped up to defend her.
In 2023, Meghan and Harry concluded their work on the Archetypes podcast, with both they and Spotify acknowledging that their collaborative effort had come to an end. They asserted that the conclusion was “mutual” and declared their pride in the series they created together.
After their tenure with Spotify, Meghan secured a new deal with Lemonada for what’s been described as a “dynamic new podcast.”
The agreement was announced this past February, yet the intricacies of Meghan’s forthcoming project are still tightly concealed.
