(CNN) – The White House released the official portrait of first lady Melania Trump on Monday.
Belgian photographer Régine Mahaux captured the black and white photograph.
The photo was snapped Jan. 21 in the Yellow Oval Room of the White House residence.
The 54-year-old first lady is dressed in a dark suit and white blouse, resting her hands on a table.
The Washington Monument is visible behind her.
