CARDI B has proved she is a woman of her word and then some after providing the evidence that she got her “butt crack pierced”.
The rap star announced on Monday to her 36 million followers on X, formerly Twitter, that she had punctured her intergluteal cleft with some new “Drip” … or as she eloquently put it, she had her “butt crack pierced”.
Some fans doubted the statement and took to her social media account to say so.
The Grammy-winning artist told her followers on X: “Soooo …….i got my butt crack pierced” along with a cheeky-looking emoji.
Of course, the puns wrote themselves as fans reacted in their droves.
@blesskatty quipped: “Sounds like a pain in the a*s!’ while @greg16676935420 wrote similarly: ‘Sounds like a pain in the butt.”
Others doubted the authenticity of the rapper’s claim and suggested she was making it up. @LuisChavezTV asked: “How is it even physically possible?” while @carnepierre199 said the rapper was ‘capping’ which is slang for lying.
@AKindred0811 demanded clarification, writing: “No you did not!!! Your sacral dimple or your actual butt crack?”
Cardi was ready to provide receipts after calls grew for her to post a photo, to which she said: “Do I lie?”
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker then included an image of her butt crack with two diamond studs clearly visible in the middle.
Butt crack piercings are also known as back dimple piercings and, like any others, come with a risk of complications including infection and tissue damage. The healing period, typically one to three months, is dependent on the skill of the piercer, your overall health and how well you care for the piercing.
But the fans who were quick to voice doubt about the bold addition to her already extensive list of tattoos and piercings on her body were soon put in their place.
Rather than ignore the chatter, Cardi followed up her post with a photo which showed two diamond studs situated at the top of her tattooed bottom.
She added … “Do I lie?”
It didn’t take long for Cardi B’s followers to then sound off on her decision to share the short-range shot.
Some applauded her for apparently “keeping it real,” whereas others slammed her for having too much time on her hands.
Cardi – who has several piercings including in her ears, nose, lip, chest, belly button, and eyebrow – underwent the new piercing four months after welcoming her third child with her husband Offset.
The “WAP” artist has yet to reveal her baby daughter’s name.
