A Place in the Sun star Jasmine Harman has helped Brits buy their dream homes overseas for more than 20 years.
Along with her best friend and co-star Jonnie Irwin, the 49-year-old has presented more than 200 episodes of the popular Channel 4 show since she joined in 2004.
Beyond A Place in the Sun, she’s worked on documentaries for BBC over the years including Collectaholics and My Hoarder Mum and Me. She has also appeared on shows like This Morning and GMTV.
Jasmine Harman has found her own perfect property in Spain, with her husband Jon Boast and their children.
But what else do we know about her life off-screen, including her stunning Spanish home?
How Jasmine Harman met her husband through A Place in the Sun

Jasmine Harman is currently married to director of photography Jon Boast.
The happy couple met on set when Jasmine was filming her first episode of the Channel 4 programme in 2004 and went on to tie the knot five years later.
Speaking about how they got together, Jasmine told the Express in 2021: “I met my husband Jon on my first A Place In The Sun. We did a pilot in South Africa, but when I filmed my first show for the series in Portugal, he was the cameraman.
“I wouldn’t actually say it was love at first sight, it was more of a slow burn. We met, became great friends and then we fell in love. Now we’ve got two children and a dog.”
Jasmine and Jon share two children together: a daughter, Joy, 10, and an eight-year-old son, Albion.
Jasmine Harman’s stunning home abroad

Jasmine and her family live in the coastal town of Estepona on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain.
Their stunning home appears to have an open-plan downstairs with a swimming pool and view outside.
Posting the news of their house on Instagram in October 2023, Jasmine wrote: “Life has many ups and downs. Sometimes the hardest things to do, bring the greatest rewards.
“Moving country has been stressful and intense and at times, overwhelming. But now we’re here and we plan to make the most of it.”
She added that it’s taken ‘almost 20 years of helping others move overseas’ to finally take the plunge and do it herself.
The star said the move to Spain is a big opportunity for her family and will give them a ‘much better balance’ of work and life.
“This is not just a house; it’s our sanctuary. Jasmine has worked her magic and this place already feels like our little haven,” her husband Jon explained in a Hello! Magazine interview.
The pair said they have welcomed friends and family over, including Jasmine’s former co-host Jonnie Irwin, who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2020. “He is a very, very special friend to me. I would love it if he and Jess and the kids are able to come,” Jasmine told the publication.
Jasmine previously lived in a 1930s house in Carshalton, South London, with her family.
Jasmine Harman’s experience with hoarding

Jasmine Harman once spoke about her experience with clutter and hoarding at her mother’s home. She appeared on This Morning with her mum Vasoulla, who has been diagnosed with hoarding disorder, to discuss how the condition had impacted their relationship.
When asked about how the hoarding started, Vasouella explained that it stemmed from bereavement. After losing her father and moving back and forth between England and Cyprus as a child, she found herself collecting trinkets and knickknacks.
The compulsion to hoard increased as she got older, and was exacerbated by a number of challenging events.
Speaking candidly about her experience growing up, Jasmine admitted she never wanted to invite guests over because she was “really embarrassed” by the clutter.
She continued to worry about others’ perception of their house as an adult, especially after becoming a public figure on A Place in the Sun in 2004. “It was my biggest fear someone find out about how I’d grown up and the way that I’d lived at that time,” she told Alison and co-host Dermot O’Leary.
Jasmine went on to share a memory of panicking after a date had asked if he could use her family home’s bathroom after driving her home. Feeling “utterly mortified”, she rushed inside the house to tidy up the bathroom before her unplanned visitor entered. “It was never spoken of again,” she admitted.
“I concentrate on having a loving relationship with my mum, and not about the hoarding,” Jasmine said, becoming visibly emotional. “I’m so grateful to her. She’s helped me become a much more compassionate person.
“We used to argue all the time. But now, we have a relationship that’s not focused on the hoarding.”
