Prince Harry has now been living in the US with his wife Meghan Markle for five years but fans are still hoping he will make his return to the UK one day.
The 40-year-old prince says he is “grateful” to be raising his two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the States but his increasingly frequent solo engagements have sparked speculation he may want to seek a different life.
Some royal fans are convinced that the Duke of Sussex misses his former life, although he has been quick to shut down these suggestions.
During a 2023 interview on Good Morning America to promote his memoir Spare, host Michael Strahan asked whether Harry and Meghan would ever reprise their roles as working royals.

The duke’s 11-word-response was clear as he said: “No, I don’t think it is ever going to be possible.”
He continued: “Even if there is an agreement, or an arrangement between me and my family, there is that third party that is going to do everything they can to make sure that isn’t possible. Not stopping us going back, but making it unsurvivable.”
It appears the feeling is mutual with his elder brother Prince William, who has reportedly made it obvious his younger brother is not welcome back to the Firm.
The duke also claimed in his book that the Prince of Wales had previously physically attacked him and the brothers are not believed to have been on good terms since it was published at the start of 2023.
Relationships between the prince and other members of the Royal Family also still remain frosty.
Harry is not believed to have seen the King in almost a year, despite having visited the UK several times since for court cases.
Although Charles and Harry are back on speaking terms, their bond is said to not be as close as it once was.
The duke’s most recent visit to the UK came just last week when he settled his legal action against News Group Newspapers (NGN) over allegations of unlawful information.
It is not yet known when Harry next plans to visit the UK with Meghan having not stepped foot on British soil since September 2022 for the late Queen’s funeral.
