Air-fryer pork chops recipe
Ingredients
– Four pork chops.
– Half tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil.
– Half tsp dried oregano.
– Half tsp paprika.
– Half tsp mustard powder.
– Half tsp onion powder.
– 25g parmesan, finely grated.
– Cooked greens and peas, to serve (optional)
Method
Preheat the air fryer to 190C, then place the pork chops in a bowl. Drizzle with oil, and rub it evenly over the surface.
Then, mix together the oregano, paprika, mustard powder, onion powder, parmesan, half teaspoon of salt, and half teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mix generously over the pork chops, ensuring they’re fully coated.
Next, transfer the seasoned chops into the air-fryer basket. Cook for five minutes (you may need to work in batches depending on your air-fryer’s size).
Turn the chops over and continue cooking for an additional five to eight minutes, or until thoroughly cooked. The exact cooking time may depend on the thickness of the chops and whether they are bone-in.
Use a probe to check the internal temperature; it should register 75C at the thickest point. Serve with wilted greens and peas and enjoy!
