A man has been accused of the monstrous rape of a 5-year-old in Staten Island, and police on Wednesday released images of the alleged assailant in the hope the public can help track him down.

Dominique Giles, 30, is being sought for the horrifying Jan. 22 assault that took place in a home near the corner of Richmond Terrace and Sharpe Ave. in Port Richmond around 5:40 a.m., cops said. The victim was known to Giles, police said.

After Giles assaulted the girl, he took off on foot and is still being sought, police charged. Medics took the girl to Richmond University Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

Giles is described as 6-feet tall and around 180 pounds. He has just one prior arrest in the city, for criminal mischief in April 2024, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
