Former glamour model Katie Price has shocked fans with an unexpected career change for 2025, which she revealed during a candid conversation on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, alongside younger sister Sophie.
During the first episode of the new year, Katie shared her plans for the next 12 months – and explained how she feels more focused than ever.
“I feel focused and want to achieve all my goals this year,” she said before adding, “oh, and guess what else I am doing this year?”
The mum-of-five went on to reveal her commitment to personal development, announcing that she plans to complete her life-coaching course, and shared her new idea to apply for an access course which will eventually see her become a paramedic.
“Im going to find time to start that course,” she sasid, before going on to say: “I just love helping people and I want to be on the road, or Air Ambulance, it is a long course.”
The star explained that her desire to become a paramedic stemmed from her strong connection with her eldest son, Harvey. She also revealed that she had found a place for him to stay closer to the family home than his supported living unit is.
Katie expressed how well she bonds with the 22 year old, and shared that the staff at Harvey’s unit had even suggested she would make an amazing carer. “So I said I’d be a volunteer once a week to do that,” she added.
Fans could not be any more excited for Katie’s new career venture as they took to the comments to share their opinion. As one wrote: “Go Katie prove them ALL wrong…nothing annoys them more than seeing someone they ALL knocked down and bullied for years rise and come back bigger…better and stronger. Keep going! x”

Harvey was diagnosed with septo-optic dysplasia as a baby. He also has autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic condition that leads to a range of physical, mental, and behavioural difficulties.
Katie had been Harvey’s primary carer until he turned 19, after which he began living independently at the National Star College in 2021, before she had to pull him out after being declared bankrupt in March of 2024.
Now, Katie’s new volunteering role will allow her to spend more quality time with Harvey as he moves closer to home.
