TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD/Gray News) – A man from Arizona was identified as one of the victims in the American Airlines plane crash.
Dustin Miller has been identified as one of the 67 people killed in the fatal mid-air collision on Wednesday night.
Miller’s family said he moved away from Arizona to be closer to his parents.
“I speak for my family when I say Dustin was the funniest guy in the room, he was also the most generous and loving,” said Dustin’s sister Kristen Miller Zahn. “He had a way of making people feel at home in his presence. He wasn’t just a brother or a son, he was also each of our best friend. We all had a unique and special bond with him. He would do anything for the people he loved, and for people he didn’t even know so well.”
She continued saying that he would be so moved by the outpouring of love and support from everyone right now.
“He loved us, he would want us all to love each other and focus on what’s important, Family. My heart goes out to every family member of this tragedy, it does hurt so bad,” she said.
The family said it would share information on the arrangements later.
According to the Associated Press, no one survived the crash between the commercial airliner and an Army helicopter.
The remains of 41 people had been pulled from the river as of Friday afternoon, including 28 that had been positively identified.
