A mystery Lanarkshire man has bagged a whopping £1 million in a National Lottery draw after matching five numbers plus the bonus ball.

The man, known only as Mr. G, is keeping his identity secret after scooping the cash in the Lotto draw on Saturday, January 11.

Mr. G was one of two Lotto players who won in the draw, as well as a very lucky ticket-holder who won the £4M jackpot prize.

The Lanarkshire man, who played via the National Lottery website, has become one of over nine million players that win each week on The National Lottery’s range of games.

Interactive winners have the opportunity to release their name, remain anonymous or like this winner, release some details through partial publicity.
