HOUSTON — Photos of a Houston middle school soccer team are causing concern for parents.
According to those concerned parents who reached out to KHOU 11 News, pictures of the girl’s soccer team were edited to make them look naked.
The parents said the images are being passed around on social media and they want something to be done about it.
Houston Independent School District officials said they’re looking into the allegations that someone digitally altered a picture of the Lanier Middle School girl’s soccer team to show them nude.
Parents seem to think the person who did it is a Lanier student, but the district didn’t say anything about that.
In a statement, an HISD spokesperson said, “HISD is aware of the allegation, is investigating and will take appropriate action to ensure the safety of all students.”
Sexual images of children, even when made with AI, are illegal.
