Police have raced to a Scots park and told the public to stay away. A post on Facebook advised the public to stay away from Callendar Park.
The force said on the Police Scotland Forth Valley account that they had “received a report of a person acting suspiciously” and were in attendance at the scene.
The post read: “Around 11am on Friday, 31 January, 2025 we received a report of a person acting suspiciously in Callendar Park, Falkirk. Officers are in attendance and the public are asked to avoid the area.”
Sources say that a nearby school, Graeme High School, was locked down, with pupils told they were not allowed outside while the situation was ongoing.
Police Scotland and Falkirk Council have been approached for comment.
