Whether you’re looking for full or part-time study, evening classes, online or remote learning or even work-based learning and apprenticeships, you can make studying work for you, around your existing circumstances.

The college works hand in hand with employers across all industries, taking on board their requirements to ensure it offers meaningful courses that will enhance existing skills that employers require, or open new doors for learners.

The college has also launched a Net Zero Skills Centre, training people to be qualified in supporting domestic premises and businesses alike to become more sustainable, in line with Scotland’s ambition to reach net zero by 2045.

From developing an understanding of domestic retrofit, to advanced qualifications in renewable energy technologies, courses are designed to provide the practical knowledge and skills required to drive sustainable change. Until the end of March, the college is offering fully-funded training programmes to businesses in key areas that support Scotland’s journey to net zero.

For all other students, there are various funding options available, either through the college itself or via Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS). The college is also working in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Local Employability partnership, funded by the Scottish Government, to offer eligible individuals funding to learn new, work-related skills and training.
