Police are looking for a man who they say terrorized a young mother and her child while they were riding an MTA bus through the Bronx.
The 31-year-old woman and her 12-year-old son were onboard a Bx15 bus near E. 180th St. and Third Ave. around 10 a.m. Monday when the maniac approached them and threatened to set them on fire before throwing an “unidentified liquid” on the mom and slashing both of her hands with a sharp object, police said.
EMS treated the woman for minor lacerations on both hands.
The assailant ran off after the attack. He is described as around 6 feet tall, a beefy 300 pounds and having a “dark complexion,” according to police. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a blue denim shirt and a gray jacket.
