It’s one of the fiercest rivalries in world football as Ajax and Feyenoord go to war this weekend.
The Dutch giants face off in Amsterdam as title-chasing Ajax seek to close the gap on leaders PSV, while the fourth-placed visitors are hunting down a Champions League spot. There’s no love lost between both clubs, and despite away fans not being allowed to attend the Klassieker for years, disorder in the stands still tends to erupt whenever these sides meet.
Less than two years ago, the Eredivisie showpiece was shockingly abandoned after Ajax maniacs threw fireworks onto the pitch and vandalised their own stadium after watching their side go 3-0 down after 55 minutes. But the most successful club in the Netherlands are in a much better place now and firmly in contention to be crowned champions for the first time since 2022.
It promises to be another fiery occasion on Sunday and here, Record Sport tells you everything you need to know.

Team news
Jordan Henderson has been stripped of the captaincy as he attempts to force through a move to AS Monaco but the Liverpool legend could still start in the engine room. But Ajax will be without crocked trio Amourricho Van Axel-Dongen, Owen Wijndal and Gaston Avila.
As for injury-plagued Feyenoord, they are without a number of key players including first-choice keeper Justin Bijlow. Chris-Kevin Nadje and Calvin Stengs are nursing knocks, while Jordan Lotomba, Quinten Timber and Ramiz Zerrouki are long-term absentees.
