The Masked Singer returned to our screens on Saturday night, February 1, with fans speculating about the true identity of Pufferfish.
The remaining masked celebrities – including Bush, Dressed Crab, Wolf, Kingfisher, and Snail – performed a variety of hits in an attempt to keep their identities hidden.
Joel Dommett hosted the show, with judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Maya Jama and Mo Gilligan trying to guess the celebrities beneath the elaborate costumes. So far, Toad In The Hole has been revealed as Macy Gray, Pegasus as Prue Leith, Spag Bol as Kate Garraway, Tattoo as Carol Decker, and Teeth as Mel Giedroyc.
However, it was Pufferfish who caught viewers’ attention during the latest episode. One clue showed a photo of Coronation Street legend Helen Worth, who played Gail Platt, reports the Mirror.
This hint led to speculation that Pufferfish could be Jodie Pregner, who joined the Corrie cast in 2022 as Glenda Shuttleworth.
While some fans online shared the same sentiment, others believe that the soap star behind Pufferfish is actually Kym Marsh, who portrayed Michelle Connor on Coronation Street from 2006 to 2019.
On X, one user commented: “Pufferfish is Kym Marsh or Jodie Prenger.” Another viewer agreed, writing: “Either Kym Marsh or Jodie Prenger is Pufferfish.”, A third fan chimed in, convinced that “Pufferfish is definitely Kym.”
Meanwhile, some fans suspect that West End star Samantha Barks, who rose to fame on the BBC talent show I’d Do Anything in 2008, might be the celebrity behind Pufferfish, having become a prominent figure in the musical theatre world.
