Celtic’s main priority is a striker before the close of the window. Who do you think Brendan Rodgers should go for?
MICHAEL GANNON: There’s been a ton of talk about Mathias Kvistgaarden and the Brondby frontman certainly fits the bill. It will take serious money but Celtic are not short of a few bob.
FRASER WILSON: Mathias Kvistgaarden fits the profile and although he wouldn’t come cheap his age and goals record suggest the Brondby striker is worth the cash.
SCOTT BURNS: The biggest problem for Celtic will be trying to get a top striker out in this window. I would go back to the future and try and bring Odsonne Edouard back. He knows what is expected and isn’t playing at Crystal Palace
Is getting into the last 16 of the Europa League Clement’s greatest Rangers achievement? And does it show he’s the man for the long-term?
MICHAEL: Clement could give Frank Sinatra a run when it comes to comebacks and he’s now in the Gio zone with European results far more impressive than domestic form. The Belgian has done incredible work in the Europa with a ramshackle squad, but he still needs to find a way of making it work in Scotland.
FRASER: Probably. It proves he has the tactical nous and ability to get big results against better sides. As have recent Old Firm clashes. There’s never been any doubt in my mind that he is a good manager. But overhauling Celtic in the next year or two would take something extraordinary.
SCOTT: You have to take your hat off to Clement for what he has done in Europe. He has got Rangers punching above their weight, with this current squad. The acid test remains the league and this will cover up the cracks but he will still need to try and close the gap domestically. If he doesn’t then there will always be question marks.
Who would you back to land the Motherwell job after Stuart Kettlewell’s exit?
MICHAEL: Neil Lennon would be a superb choice if they could persuade the former Celtic and Hibs gaffer to take it. Lennon knows the Scottish game inside out and would get the place going again.
FRASER: I like that they give youngish managers a chance. There’s plenty of names out there including Scott Brown and Steven Naismith. But could Tam Courts be tempted back? His record at United where he promoted youth must be attractive to Well bosses.
SCOTT: I would bring Billy Davies back. Motherwell need an experienced manager and although he has been out for a number of years, with the right backroom team he could be a really solid appointment. Former Preston boss Ryan Lowe is another one who looks to be a solid contender.
Who do you think has done the best transfer business this month?
MICHAEL: It’s been a pretty quiet January so far but Hearts look to have added a bit of quality that will drag them up the league table, while Jota returning to Celtic is the big box office move of the window.
FRASER: Slim pickings but Hearts must be happy with the impact of Elton Kabangu and Jamie McCart already. On top of that there’s a buzz about the arrivals of Michael Steinwender and Sander Kartum. Who doubted the supercomputer eh?
SCOTT: I would probably go for Dundee United. They looked to have added quality and players who know the Scottish game. Allan Campbell will be a terrific signing and Ruari Paton offers something different upfront. Lewis Fiorini is also a talent if he can hit the heights.
