Snoop Dogg has revealed he wants to see Oasis play in Edinburgh this summer – and he has invited some Celtic players to the gig.

The rap legend has told the Sunday Mail “his boy Noel” is going to give him tickets for the Manchester band’s hotly anticipated reunion tour.

And he wants to combine his love of the Hoops and music by bringing along some of Brendan Rodgers’ stars to see Oasis duo Liam and Noel Gallagher.

He said: “People know I never need an excuse to come visit Scotland but yeah for real I need to come and see Oasis this summer.

“I tried to sign Noel back in 2009 when he had left Oasis, it just never quite happened – but the main thing is they have got back together. It’s a good thing for the music industry.

“The city I want to see them is Edinburgh, of course it is.

“If I reach out I know my boy Noel is gonna hook me up with tickets. It would be cool if a couple of the Celtic players could come with me – I’ll have to see what Noel can do.”

Snoop told last year how he wanted to invest in Celtic FC after being inspired by Hollywood pal Ryan Reynolds, who bought Welsh club Wrexham.

The multi-millionaire rapper even said he would take on mascot duties. He is desperate to come to Edinburgh for a big night on the town to celebrate the Oasis reunion in style.

The 17-times Grammy nominated artist added: “When you are on tour I know you finish up in one city and fly right to another, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to party and have a big night out in Edinburgh.

“In the 90s those boys partied harder than anybody in rock and roll – I am sure they can handle one flight with a hangover.”

Snoop, 52, is worth £120million and has been a fan of Celtic for over 20 years.

He wore the strip when he played Glasgow in 2023 and was greeted by a bagpiper playing song Still D.R.E. when he touched down in Scotland for the gig at the OVO Hydro.

The rapper, from California, has appeared in a host of Hollywood films and previously spoke about duetting with Celtic fan Sir Rod Stewart.

But he’d also love to share a stage with another Hoops fan – Susan Boyle.

The entrepreneur – real name Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr – is a lifelong wrestling fan and highly rates Scottish WWE hero Drew McIntyre.
