(Gray News) – Beyonce has won Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammys for “Cowboy Carter.”
In her acceptance speech, Queen Bey said, “I’d like to thank all the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We worked so hard on it. I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about and to stay persistent.”
Earlier in the night, Beyonce and Miley Cyrus won the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for the “Cowboy Carter” track “II Most Wanted.”
She made history as the first Black woman to win in the country category in over 50 years.
