Kanye West and Bianca Censori left spectators worldwide stunned on Sunday evening when the model and designer arrived at the 2025 Grammy Awards in a completely sheer dress.

The rapper could be heard whispering to his partner, prompting her to remove her fur coat and reveal that she was donning a nude mesh dress with no underwear beneath.

As Bianca slowly let her coat fall, flashing her behind before twirling for the shell-shocked media photographers, they got an eyeful of her bare form.

The act was received negatively to the extent that reports surfaced of the couple being ‘escorted out’ from the award ceremony.

Viewers of the live broadcast at home called for the pair to face repercussions for their behaviour, which they described as ‘creepy and disturbing’.

A lipreading expert has since deciphered their puzzling exchange just before Bianca shed her coat while maintaining a poker face.

In a now-viral TikTok video shared by CBS Mornings, the duo was seen chatting on the red carpet. Nicola Hickling, the founder and chief analyst at LipReader, disclosed that West was advising his wife to unveil what she was wearing underneath.

According to Hickling’s interpretation, Kanye was urging her, “You’re making a scene now”.

Bianca’s response was a muted nod. Kanye persisted: “Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense.”

Following another silent agreement from Bianca, Kanye instructed: “Drop it behind you and then turn, I got you.”

“Alright let’s go,” Bianca tells him, according to the lip reading expert. Australian designer Bianca then drops her coat to reveal her naked body underneath, reports the Mirror.

There were fears that Kanye and Bianca had put themselves at risk of jail time for the showstopping moment.

According to California Penal Code 314(1), indecent exposure is defined as “when a person exposes his or her naked body or genitals in front of anyone who could be annoyed or offended by it.

It also stipulates that the act must be “wilful and lewd” to be considered a crime.

To be found guilty, a person must “intentionally expose your genitals or naked body; expose yourself in front of someone who might be offended or annoyed by it; intend to direct attention to yourself; and intend to sexually gratify yourself or offend someone else when you do it”.

But it’s not just legal outfits causing a stir – social media has been ablaze over Bianca’s risqué Grammy get-up.

One tweeter remarked: “kanye and that lady should be arrested for that stunt on the red carpet…… #GRAMMYs. ” Did Bianca go too far with her outfit choice? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say. Another shared their exasperation: “Every single time i have seen Kanye’s wife naked was against my will,” while a third quipped: “Kanye’s wife is fully naked….does this event not have a dress code…?

#GRAMMYs. “Another user slammed the pair, writing: “Kanye West and Bianca Censori at Grammys. Completely Disgusting. #Grammys #Kanye.”.

The surprise on the red carpet precedes live performances from a host of nominees, including stars such as Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, Janelle Monáe, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Chris Martin, Doechii, and Sabrina Carpenter.

This year’s Grammy Awards have taken a slightly different turn compared to previous years, due to the uncertainty caused by the Los Angeles wildfires.

However, California governor Gavin Newsom gave the green light for the event to proceed. The show has adopted a reimagined format, featuring a more subdued red carpet.
