Yet another celeb from Love Island All Stars has quit in the space of a few days.
Scott Thomas was the first to walk from the All Stars series, and his departure was broadcast in last night’s episode showing intense scenes regarding the impact of Scott’s choice on Tina Stinnes.
Then earlier today it was announced that Ron Hall was to become the second contestant to leave the show after reportedly failing to find a connection.
But now fans are even more stunned after Lucinda Strafford, who was supposed to enter the villa as a bombshell, has also decided to take a U-turn and fly home.
Lucinda had already arrived in South Africa for the series, but then decided that she no longer wanted to appear on the show. She has since taken to social media, posting a “cryptic dig” at the programme, reported The Mirror.
“Respectfully this is how it sounds knowing Love Island All Stars is not for you this year,” she captioned her video as the Hannah Montana song You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home played in the background.
Before entering the villa, Bombshells are kept in isolation and have no access to their phones or outside world, which appeared to be too much for Lucinda. Sources say Lucinda wasn’t happy that she had been forced to wait so long for a place in the villa.
A source said: “Lucinda was asked to come and do Love Island again and she was really ready to give it another go. But she ended up being in holding for too long and wasn’t happy about it.”
The source went on to tell The Sun that she believed it would be “too late” for her to find a genuine connection in the villa.
They added: “It was a tough call but she decided to head home. She thinks it’s for the best and this season just wasn’t for her.”
Lucinda, who was seen on a flight, then told fans on social media to “trust their gut” on their decisions. But while some fans may be left disappointed, others have supported her decision.
She told her followers on TikTok: “If something feels off, it most definitely is off, you know yourself more than anyone else. So definitely make sure to trust your gut. Also, if things are out of your control, let it have freedom of your mind, there’s nothing you can do about it.”
“I expect the full tea & nothing but the full tea,” said one fan.
A second commented: “You need a break from Love Island.”
Meanwhile, a third typed: “Next year girl.”
“Girl you’re past that,” added a fourth.
Tonight’s episode of the show will see Ron’s exit play out in full.
He entered the villa as a bombshell earlier in the series but has now reportedly quit after failing to find a connection with any of the girls on the show.
A source told The Mirror: “Ron has left the villa. He feels he no longer wants to wait to see if he’ll find a connection with a new bombshell.”
