BURNET COUNTY, Texas — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing man in Burnet County.
According to the Burnet County Sheriff’s Office, 73-year-old Michael Pirie was last seen on Saturday, Feb. 1, around 6:30 p.m. along State Highway 29 near Chisum Trail.
Pirie has been diagnosed with a cognitive impairment and the sheriff’s office believes his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
The sheriff’s office said Pirie stands about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He has gray hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a long-sleeve green shirt with blue jeans.
