Million-selling artist and musical theatre sensation Alexandra Burke is set to light up the stage at Hamilton Park’s most glamorous event of the season, Cube Glass Ladies’ Night
The chart-topping star will dazzle the crowd on Saturday, August 2, before the racing action gets underway with performances of her biggest hits, including Bad Boys and Start Without You, as well as her iconic rendition of Hallelujah, which remains one of the UK’s best-selling singles.
Since winning the fifth series of The X Factor in 2008, Alexandra has sold over four million records in the UK and cemented her place as one of the show’s most successful winners.
Ashley Moon, racecourse managing director at Hamilton Park, said: “We’re thrilled that Alexandra is able to join us for what is sure to be another unforgettable Ladies’ Night. Her iconic voice and incredible talent will undoubtedly make for a show-stopping performance.”
And Ashley added: “We’ve got a fantastic evening of racing action and top class entertainment lined up and we can’t wait to reveal more special guests in the coming weeks – it really is shaping up to be a night to remember and with our early bird tickets on sale now there’s no better time to secure your tickets!”
Beyond her chart success, Alexandra has become a star of the stage, earning critical acclaim in leading roles in musicals such as The Bodyguard, Chicago and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Her portrayal of Rachel Marron in The Bodyguard saw her captivate audiences on a UK-wide tour.
And she also had a successful run on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing, where she made it to the final of the 2017 series.
